Dr. Randy Macon has worked as a Board Certified Orthodontist at Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry since 1993. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991, he went on to receive a Certificate in Orthodontics from the Medical College of Virginia in 1993. He then completed his Orthodontic Residency at the Medical College of Virginia.
When it comes to orthodontics, Dr. Macon is especially interested in braces and Invisalign®, and the most rewarding part of his job is taking off a patient’s braces to reveal a new smile. Each day, he comes to work feeling incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to help change people’s lives for the better through orthodontics.
Dr. Macon and his wife, Pam, have been married for 25 years, and they have a daughter who lives in Nashville, TN. A native of Raleigh, Dr. Macon feels blessed to call the area home. Outside of the office, he enjoys golfing, exercising, cycling and spending time at the theater watching plays or musicals. He also enjoys volunteering for local and abroad medical and dental outreach missions, where he helps those who are otherwise unable to receive quality healthcare.
