I believe that creating a positive experience for children takes more than clinical expertise. It takes patience, imagination, playfulness, and a willingness to meet each child where they are. One of my favorite parts of pediatric dentistry is watching children discover that they are capable of doing hard things—and seeing their confidence grow along the way.

I am a Charlotte native and have been here in Raleigh since 2007. At home, my wife, Emily, and I have a son named Finn, a daughter Charlie, a furry golden retriever named Graham Cracker Kornstein, and we have two bunnies Archie and Dwayne “Loco” Kornstein. When I’m not in the office, you can often find me kitesurfing, paddle surfing, skiing and hiking. I am passionate about the effects that a whole foods, plant-centered diet has on improving not just oral health, but overall health.
