On Sunday, March 5, 2017, the pediatric dentists of Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry were excited and honored to join the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Performance Bike of Raleigh, NC, to surprise Hunter with a new handbike. Make A Wish Foundation is a national, non profit organization that arranges experiences, known as “wishes”, for kids who have life-threatening medical conditions. Eligibility is determined by a child’s physician. Make A Wish has 62 chapters throughout the United States who operate tirelessly to grant wishes.
He was surprised and thrilled to ride his new handbike all over the store. Hunter’s excitement was unbelievable, and we were humbled to be able to participate by joining with others to provide this for him. We have no doubt he will put this bike to good use — happy biking, Hunter!
