COVID-19 MESSAGE TO PATIENTS

As everyone is now aware, COVID-19 is a part of our everyday life. At Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, we are striving to provide you with the safest environment possible. As a means to that end, we are implementing the following protocols:

First and foremost, if a patient or family member is experiencing any of the following symptoms or conditions, please call/E-mail or text to reschedule your appointment:
fever
– cough
– congestion
– joint pain
– GI symptoms(diarrhea or vomiting)
– traveled outside the country recently or have been in the vicinity of a known COVID-19 patient

We will be available for normal office hours starting Monday, 3/16/20.

These hours may be limited based on the impact of the development of this disease as changes are occurring rapidly. If you have an appointment, please limit the number of accompanied adults to one individual per patient. For older teens who are used to coming and going, parents may wait in the car to reduce their exposure. Follow-up appointments can be made via telephone to minimize nonpatient care interactions.

We will provide emergency care throughout with possible limitations to one location.

Stay connected to our website and Facebook page for further updates.

We assure you that Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry is taking the necessary steps to stay ahead of this dilemma to provide a safe and healthy environment to provide the best possible care to our patients and families.

Helpful steps to protect yourself from COVID-19 include:
-excellent hand washing hygiene using soap/water or hand sanitizer
-avoid contact with affected individuals
-cough/sneeze into a tissue or elbow
-avoid touching your eyes, face, mouth
-clean high-touch surfaces & door handles, light switches, countertops often

Thank you, everyone, as we work together to try to navigate our way through this unprecedented situation.
